We love welcoming volunteers into our school! Volunteers play a vital role in enriching our children's learning experiences and supporting our staff. Whether you have a few hours a week or just the occasional afternoon to spare, your time and skills can make a real difference.
How can you help?
We have a variety of volunteering opportunities, including:
Outdoor Maintenance and Gardening: Do you have green fingers? Help us keep our school grounds looking beautiful! We always need help with weeding, planting, tidying, and general maintenance of our outdoor spaces.
Reading Buddies: Spend time with individual children or small groups, listening to them read and helping them develop their literacy skills.
Forest School Assistants: Join our exciting Forest School sessions! Assist with activities, supervise children, and help them connect with nature.
Classroom Support: Offer an extra pair of hands in the classroom to support teachers with activities, preparing resources, and helping children with their learning.
What do you need?
All volunteers will require a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check to ensure the safety of our children. This involves a simple application process and requires two forms of identification (e.g., passport, driving licence) and proof of address (e.g., utility bill).
